The couture process is an intimate collaboration. You will work one-on-one with Fern to define your unique needs, ensuring your garment reflects not only your body but the feeling you want to embody—seductive, decadent, or timelessly classic.

THE COUTURE PROCESS
Your modern-day portal to one of the oldest Parisienne crafts - developing a custom, luxury ensemble fit to your unique measurements and style. Working one-on-one with the designer, Madame Fern, your dream garment will be born into existence. Whether corset, lingerie set, gown, kimono, or runway worthy separates, we will work exclusively with you to bring the piece to life; infused with the daring, feminine spirit of "FERN."

PHASE 1
CONSULTATION (free)
Schedule an initial 15 minute call where we explore your ideas, goals and timeline for a custom creation.

PHASE 2
INITIAL FITTING & DEPOSIT
​
After we have discussed project goals, you will meet with Madame Fern for a private fitting where she will gather your measurements. At this time, we require a non-refundable deposit of $1000 (or $500 for any order under $1500) to secure your slot and begin the sketching process.

PHASE 3
DESIGN CONFIRMATION & FABRIC SELECTION
Once sketches have been finalized, you will select your preferred design and textiles.
A 50% down payment is required at this stage to allow for the drafting process to begin and the textiles to be ordered.

PHASE 4
FITTING
​
During the development process, we will create a series of samples to perfect the fit of your garment and account for any necessary adjustments. This part of the process requires at least one to two in-person fittings. At the second to final fitting, the remaining payment will be due to finish the piece.

PHASE 5
DELIVERY
​
After the fit has been finalized, we will put finishing touches on your piece and have it ready for pick up at our NYC studio or have it delivered by mail.
