What we know today as the "kimono" was one of the earliest, traditional unisex garments, rooted in ancient Japanese culture. Today, we celebrate the kimono's cultural significance, while also infusing it into the modern day, international wardrobe.

Available as made-to-measure variations of house designs or conceived as fully bespoke, couture originals, each kimono is tailored to your proportions and crafted in exceptional silks, velvets, or jacquards. Select pieces may be adorned with one-of-a-kind lace motifs, individually developed from laces sourced through one of the last remaining traditional lace-makers in France. Merging these rare European laces with our modern interpretations of the classic kimono form, each garment becomes a fusion of East and West—a singular creation that cannot be replicated and will not be found anywhere else.

CUSTOM COUTURE KIMONOS

Couture kimonos are entirely original creations, designed in collaboration with you from the ground up. Starting from sketches and fabric selections, which can include specialty laces and embroideries, each piece is tailored to your proportions and vision. Unlike made-to-measure styles, our couture kimonos allow for new silhouettes, unique motifs, and design details, resulting in a one-of-a-kind statement garment.

These creations typically have a lead time of 3 months and we suggest a minimum of 1-2 fittings. Please inquire if you need a rush order.

Our made-to-measure kimonos are drawn from our house styles and tailored precisely to your proportions. These designs retain the original silhouette and details, with adjustments made only for size and fit. If you wish to explore customized elements—such as new fabrics, lace motifs, or design alterations—the piece becomes a fully bespoke kimono, created in collaboration to realize your individual vision.

Made-to-measure creations typically have a lead time of 6-8 weeks with an optional fitting.
