Striking Red Feather Fan
  • Striking Red Feather Fan

A fluffed vintage fan with a striking red/fuschia hue, this hand fan is an original piece that has inspired historical fan reproductions. The base is made of celluloide, which is an early form of plastic invented in the late 1800s. It originally belonged to a woman in the 1940s and was passed down to the grandaughter, who recalls hearing many stories about the fan's life. Worn in black at this year's Met Gala, this fiery piece can make a lovely addition to your ensemble at the ballet or opera, but can also double as a fun addition for bedroom play.

    • Sustainability

We source vintage and used accessories to continue to use what has already been produced in this world. We do this in the hopes that it may find a new purpose and home instead of being replaced by a new version of the same item. The items are carefully selected to ensure a high level of quality. Please note that older items require slightly more care, but should be used and appreciated as part of your wardrobe.
